I support clients in adjusting to life changes and better understanding their own life experience. As a clinical psychologist, my approach to consultation is collaborative and relational. The psychotherapy relationship itself is a unique opportunity to develop awareness, gain hope and create the opportunity for change in one’s life.
My training is in classical dynamic, humanistic and cognitive-behavioral theories and my approach draws from these mainstream ideas. While I may have access to experience and strategies that have helped others make changes in their lives, I know it is my clients who are the experts on their own lives, and ultimately the ones who create their own change.
I have experience working in both medical and psychiatric hospital systems. I served as Behavioral Oncologist at Lahey Hospital and Medical Center Oncology Hematology Department, and held a Clinical Assistant Professorship at Tufts Medical School. My Post-Doctoral Fellowship was at McLean Hospital where I was an Instructor in Psychology at Harvard Medical School.
I completed my Doctorate in Clinical Psychology at William James College, my Master's in Counseling Psychology at Lesley University, and my Bachelor's in Civil Engineering at Northeastern University.
